USG guided procedures--- FNAC / Biopsy / Pleural, ascetic fluid Tapping and drainage procedures
Interventional procedures like taking tissue sample from tumor, taking out fluid accumulated in chest wall or abdominal cavity, aspirating pus collected inside the body are safely done under ultrasound guidance where we can see the needle path.
We at Shobha Diagnostic centre carry out these procedures. Prior appointment is necessary.
Ultrasound guided core-biopsy and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) of the following are done at Shobha diagnostic centre

- Prostate gland in men which is done transrectally (through the anal canal)
